Probing Into The Development Of Small Towns In Less Developed Areas--Considering Yanbian Area

With the deepening of our reform and opening to outside world, we have achieved a great deal in economic development. Small towns in China have developed very fast. During the development of small towns, however, there are many problems such as poor planning, unreasonable locations and lacking of characteristics in construction. Therefore, we are faced with many small towns with poor equality and vague development direction.Taking Yanbian area as an example of under-developed area, this article analyzes the current development of small towns in Yanbian area, discusses their development approaches and comes up with corresponding development strategies. We hope it will be instructive to the construction of small towns in Yanbian area.
