Meanwhile, this thesis stated how to build good network infrastructureand select for the SCM software in more details. Knowledge managementin organizations and the training at first were emphasized This thesis also demonstrated the principles and flows of chemicalplants with the target of sino-pec (Qi Lu petrochemical enterprise) andgave the improved flows. There are many problems of the interfacesbetween different systems in chemical industry. So much attention shouldbe paid to interfaces with suppliers and distributors. The discussion about the integrated SCM design principles, theoperated SCM design flows and the features of the network infrastructureis creative at a degree. The thesis is significant to the theory and practice of SCM design. Itwill contribute to decision upon SCM implement of chemical enterprises inthe future.
