Study Of Developing The Modern Logistics Of China Railway Transport Industry

Although reform of China Railway Operation System has been carried out for these years, its development is not ideal. Ministry of Railways proposed a reform scheme "Separation of Railway Line Net and Transport Operation" in 2000, which is hardly to say a perfect plan and has not been realized until now, but it is suitable to current situation of China to end the "Imitative Soviet Operation Mode" under the planned economy. If the scheme is further optimized and consummated, a new operation system will be brought out, meeting the development requirements of market economy, overall jointing with international practice, which should offer favorable chances to set up a modern railway logistics system in China.The papers analyze the internal contradiction of railway transport as well as the actuality of managerial system (three big problems during the reform) thoroughly, envisaging the shares ceaseless decrease of railway transport from general transport net market. On the basis of expatiating connotation of modern logistics and Sino-foreign logistics development process in the round, it studies and probes into the existing problems and countermeasure in developing the modern railway logistics of China Railway Transport Industry combining with the samples. Meanwhile the necessity, superiority, limitation and risk to develop the modern logistics in the field of railway transport industry are emphatically analyzed, on which base, a constructive idea to establish a modern logistics system in the field of China railway transport is suggested.
