The Research On The Development About The Trade In Educational Services In Our Country

As a member of WTO, China will abide by the three important national agreements with other members of the WTO adhering to the open and fair principle. These agreements include GATT, TRIPs, and GATS. It give the rule to all of the educational activities needing tuition or having the commercial character especially the higher education, adult education, the vocational and technological training excepting those aided financially by government (such as military academy). This means that all of the members of WTO can participate in the competition of the educational service, that the international trade in education market is taken in shape. China is pushed into the competitive and developing orbit of the whole world, to the great national market . It is the only way of the Chinese education at the whole world economic time that our educational market is opened.The educational service concept and the trade in educational service concept are introduced in this paper firstly, then the WTO rules about it are showed. The current situation and trend in the would about this concept is stated. We give some reasons that it is necessary to open our educational market to other countries. The promises related to WTO rule are stated and explained. Some questions about the trade are analizedin this paper. We make some suggestions that how the trade in educational service is developed in our country finally.
