Legal Studies On The Trade In Educational Services Of China Under GATS

CHINA entered WTO on 11th December 2001.Based on the current situation, CHINA makes commitments according to the rules of educational service trade under WTO. The commitments mean not only opportunities, but also challenges. While considering how to develop the educational service trade, we are thinking about how to develop it with laws, which is a defy to the international economic law scholars. So, the Author writes the thesis to inspire more scholars to concentrate on the law study of educational service trade.There are over 40,000 letters in this thesis, which is divided into four chapters altogether except the preface and the conclusion:The Author introduced the origin of services trade in education in the first part. We can grasp the direction by learning about the history of educational service trade.In the second part, the Author narrates definitions of educational service and the commitments we makes ,which are the level and concrete promises.We are wise to the current situation of the educational service trade laws from the third part. This part of this thesis is transitional, which helps to lead to the fourth. By analyzing the current laws ,we can find out the limitation.The fourth part of this article is the most important one, which pointed out the main legal suggestion to develop the educational service trade. Fristly ,we should hold the legislative principles to keep the education independence. Secondly, we'd better consummate educational service trade laws frames. Thirdly, the Author puts forward some problems which exists in the educational service trade laws and brings forward the solutions.
