The Development Of Taiwan Dachan Group In Mainland

Since 1980s last century, with the establishment of "reform and open" policy and the development of socialistic market economy in China mainland, the economic intercommunion between the Taiwan Strait has been tighter and tighter. Taiwan has been the Fourth trader partner and the second biggest import market of mainland. And the mainland has been the biggest export market of Taiwan. The economic intercommunion trend has been undisputable. Under such a situation, more and more Taiwan enterprises decide to invest in mainland to expand their business. From 1990 to present, most of those companies who invested in mainland have gained big growth and good return. Statistic data show that about 60% of these enterprises get positive profit in mainland market.This report is to record and analyze the development of a Taiwan agriculture and animal company, Dachan Group, who invested in mainland very early, including its business, its operation model, its industry background, its enterprise culture, its future strategy, and etc. This report is composed of two sections. The first section includes four chapters, brief introduction of Dachan Group; introduction of feed and meat industry; the development of business in mainland; the operation management in mainland. The second section includes three chapters, the key successful factors, the problem Dachan faces, and my own points of view of the development strategy of Dachan.
