| As the trend of financial globalization strengthens and the impact of exterior uncertainty grows day by day, in order to keep the development of the financial industry safe, healthy, stable and sustainable, the coordination and cooperation among the authorities on financial supervision and regulation becomes one of the most concerned issues in the world.The research on the synergy mechanism of the authorities on financial supervision and regulation is to find out how these supervisors and regulators cooperate with each other in the course of administration, is to reveal the form, formation and internal regularities while they work in coordination with each other supervising and regulating financial institutions and other participants in financial business so as to achieve common goals. The analytical framework of the thesis includes the relation between financial theories and synergetics, synergetic analysis of the issue, economic analysis of the issue, international practices and suggestion to Chinese government.In this thesis, the author firstly summarizes the theoretical studies nowadays on the coordination and cooperation among the authorities on financial supervision and regulation. Then, by introducing synergetics, which is a subject in system science, she analyses the theoretical framework of this issue from both economics angle and synergetics angle. The analysis provides a new way that crosses two subjects for us to study further on this issue, proves that the synergy effect helps to make finance system a self-organized synergetic system, testifies that the synergy mechanism is necessary and feasible. Finally, on the basis of analyzing the actual framework in current international practices as well as successful experiences of some typical countries, the thesis offers Chinese government some practical suggestions on China's financial policy to establish the synergy mechanism of financial supervisors and regulators.
