With the China's access to WTO, our foundry industry is having the potential large development space, as casting production is being transferred from developed country to China, which has made China the large foundry country with the biggest casting production. However, this does not mean that China has been a strong foundry country because we are still weak on high quality casting production and can only stay at low grade, primary production temporarily. Thus, we can say that China is encountering both challenges and opportunities. As the biggest domestic foundry material producer, Shengquan Group has many competitive advantages. By making full use of current market opportunity and national economic situation, it has developed to the No.1 of the foundry organic chemical binder industry in China during the last 20 years. In the process of its development, some problems, such as lack in administration, development strategy, high administration charge, and inactive market operation are feazing itself. This article is to describe how to suit market development and make proper market strategy to ensure enterprise keep leading, active position and maintain the stable, healthy development under the situation of industry's fast development. The chapter I mainly introduces a) the status quo and problems of Chinese foundry industry, development trend and view of molding material; b) describes my research direction "market analysis of binders for resin sand foundry " and subject selection, research frame, result of enterprise's strategy research in general. The chapter II mainly analyzes and describes the development of resin binder technology as well as market demand, which is to give an clear introduction and description on the whole industry. The chapter III analyzes such as basic characteristic of resin binder market and industry competitive structure and industry attraction and other key factors by inner circumstance analysis method of the strategy analysis theory. Through a lot of statistic data and experiences that I collected, it analyzes the development situation of this industry's market. The chapter IV is to find the enterprise's advantage and shortage in the market competition by analysis of enterprise's products' management structure and enterprise activity resources. The chapter V uses SWOT synthetic circumstance analysis method to choose the key circumstance factors that are really affect enterprise and its advantage and shortage, then build an analysis model and define the SWOT quadrant orientation and strategy development direction. The chapter VI is to make market competition strategy and choose proper management strategy with execution according to enterprise's management position and market subsection. By our analysis and research, we will not only get more knowledge on resin binder industry's market situation but also make research of the development strategy in this industry according to enterprise's development, then study a management strategy suitable for current market development both in theory and practice.
