Logistics alliance is the long-term cross-enterprise cooperation arrangement between manufacturer and the third party. In such alliance, the members need to trust each other, to take risk and share profit together. Trust is important to logistics alliance, which can decrease uncertainty and transaction cost in alliance relationship, simplify the transactional process, and help manufacturer and the third party realize the potential in the relationship. This paper gives the following suggestion about trust to the members in logistics alliance: building good alliance-reputation; building fare profit- share mechanism; building dispute-solution mechanism; building trust relationship between individuals and teams; building open information-communication mechanism with partner; enforcing team-study in alliance; building necessary trust-assessment mechanism.
