Forming Mechanism And Development Model Of Third Party Logistics

Nowadays the tendency of global purchasing, global sale and indigenization of product becomes more and more evident; the specialization of logistics is not only the certain result of society division of labor but also the inevitable requirement of market economy. Third part logistics, which can save the cost of logistics and improve the efficient of logistics, is the ideal chooses of enterprises. As practice proven, without socialized and modernized logistics operation, it is very difficult to reach high efficiency of commodities circulation, and is not good to improve the level of logistics and also make discount to the operation efficiency, while high quality service of third party logistics can meet the complex and varied requirement of clients, at the same time improve flourishing growing of itself, thus drive harmoniously development ahead of economy and society. So we should deeply know the forming mechanism of TPL, change our ideas, comply with the law of things development, and on these bases it is very significentful to research an effective developing mode according to operation way of TPL.In fact TPL is opposite to "first party" dispatcher and "second party" consignee. It is neither belonged to first party nor to second party, while without own commodities, it proves specialized logistics services by cooperating with first and second parties and participating in buying and sealing TPL provides clients serialize, particular and informational logistics agent service which are conformed to the contracts and based on alliance. This thesis mainly analysis and expounds the forming mechanism and development model of TPL in four chapters of the most part of it, which involves transaction cost theory in economics, organization pattern and thought evolve theory in management science and universal law of society development to dissect the forming mechanism of TPL, TPL operation way, seeking the way transforming to TPL enterprises and the development model from the situation of transportation enterprises, warehousing enterprises ,agency and interior logistics department which are dealt with traditional logistics. The last chapter combines TPL and E-business to analyses the relation between them and looks into future prospectof TPL under the E-business environment.This thesis is mainly explain that: TPL can appear for that it can balance the rights of every related part, save the cost of transaction, reduce negative influence of disorder market; TPL can develop for that it can avoid enterprises out of order, and accomplish more logistics business better by rich management experience and core capacity; TPL can expand for the raising of lever of the specialization of society and the pushing forward of social manufacture. For traditional transportation enterprise, storage enterprise, agent enterprise and internal logistics department all have their own features and compete superiorities, as transforming point to TPL, by using different ways and methods we should complete this change and transforming according to particular conditions.
