EU Common Policies Towards China And Their Impacts On Sino-EU Relations

Sino-EU relations are important problems of the contemporary international relations, the development of Sino-EU relations has positive significances in promoting the development of the Asian-Pacific area and even the world. This study comprehensively observed the forming of EU common policies towards China and their impacts on Sino-EU relations in the aspects of politics, economy, science, technology and culture, then analyzed Chinese government's respond to these policies, from which we can see the interaction between China and EU. This study also pointed out the divergences of EU member countries' policies towards China while analyzing the consistency of EU policies towards China. The study probed into the factors obstructing the development of Sino-EU relations and predicted the developing trend of Sino-EU relations. Because of the diversities of* social systems, ideology, culture ideas and economic situation, both sides have contradictions and divergences unavoidably, but generally speaking, dialogues and cooperation are mainstreams of developing Sino-EU relations. So long as China and EU are in line with mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit, seeking common ground while reserving difference and the spirit of deepening cooperation, try to seek and broaden the convergence of common interests between China and EU, the strategic partnership between China and EU in the 21st century can positively and soundly develop!...
