The Research On Information Resource Integration Of Chinese Power Plants

Firstly, this paper defines the concept of information resource integration, fromthe view of enterprise informationalazition history, and by analyzing the background ofthis concept origin and all kinds of comprehension. Then, it points out that, theInformation Engineering (IE) theory established by James Martin and other Americanscholars should be the basic theory of information resource integration. Next, this paper introduces domestic and overseas ' practice of informationresource integrating base on IE, that is Chinese power plants' IRP (Information ResourcePlanning) and EPRI (Electric Power Research Institute)'s PIN (Plant InformationNetwork). By analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of them, this paper putsforward a solution of Chinese power plants information resource integration, that is,nationwide criterion of power plants' single data model combining with enterprise levelIRP. In the second half of this paper, directed by IE, learning from EPRI's single datamodel, this paper describes the framework. of Chinese power plants' single data model,and its application foreground.
