The state-owned international apparel trade enterprises have the important task of export on its shoulders at all times. Go along with China joining WTO, abolishing of quota reducing of drawback and more and more private enterprises operate international apparel trade, the state-owned international apparel trade enterprise is losing its advantage in policies, be into a passive situation and facing a great challenge.Based on the forenamed background, the author argues that one of the most effective ways for helping the state-owned international apparel trade enterprise out of difficulties, win the competition and achieve further development is to build a set of perfect motivation mechanism, to improve the employee's enthusiasm.This thesis is based on the study of documentary material and in the course of the study, to know the internal and external environment, enterprise innovation and the employee's enthusiasm, investigation on state-owned international apparel trade enterprises have been done. The author did questionnaire investigation to the employees of seven state-owned international apparel trade enterprises before analyze the data by using SPSS. In the basis of theoretical research and cases analysis, a set of motivation mechanism is established.Chapter one introduces the background of the research, the purport and the construction of the thesis and research methods which been used in the thesis.Chapter two firstly introduces the development of the state-owned international apparel trade enterprise and its motivation mechanism of employees, then based on interviews, analyzes the existence condition of the state-owned international apparel trade enterprises are facing, and its motivation mechanism.Chapter three is theoretical study, including three parts there are nature of human and motivation, theories of motivation and the motivation mechanism.Chapter four investigates the employees of seven state-owned international apparel trade enterprises, and analyzes the data with SPSS. Reliability analysis validates the reliability of the result of questionnaires and analyzes it with SPSS. Factor analysis concludes the motivation factors into the development of personal and corporation, jobs, salary, position and requirements of safe, surroundings, physical and satisfaction; Cluster analysis divides the employees in state-owned international apparel tradeenterprises into four styles: growth, maturity, family and stability. Employee in the different style goes to different factor of motivation.Based on the result of analysis, chapter five discusses the ways of reform of motivation mechanism in state-owned international apparel trade enterprises and tries to develop a resolution of motivation mechanism: an efficient motivation in the corporation may be realized through careers development, shareholders or options and a fine planning of compensation meanwhile, the corporation culture is another factor which should never been overlooked.Chapter six concludes the thesis and gives some propose to the next study.This thesis strives to have the value of reference for state-owned international apparel trade enterprise of the employee motivation.During the research, the author grasped the principle knowledge in survey research and data statistical analysis. Furthermore, the author accumulated rich working and social communication experience.
