With the globle economy and the scientific technology developing faster and faster, enterprises are facing drastic changes in the market. To achieve continuing competition advantage, any enterprise must take strategic revalutionary into account. The market-driven theory is a set of systematic managerial concepts brought up by professor George.S.Day of the Pennsylvania University, whose works such as "market-driven organization: understanding, attracting and keeping valueble customers" affected and is affecting profoundly many of the western enterprises. For example, guided by the market-driven theory, Wal-Mart and Gillette have taken great advantages in their customer relationship which is much superior than that of their competitors.After grasping the theory, I realize that its core thought of developing tight relationship with the market by building up a special structure of culture, ability, and configuration is very fit for our country's enterprises. It can help them build up a mold to gain continuing competition advantage. Hence, I write my thesis and try to find a way to merge the theory and our native enterprises' characters. The highlights are: (1) analyze the differences between the local and the alien enterprises from three main factors of maket-driven organization: culture, ability, and configuration. (2) develop some new views about the theory. (3)provide the systematical solution of how to become a market-driven organization for the Chinese enterprises.In part one, I expound the basic concepts and analyze the necessities of a market-driven organization: maket-leading culture, differentiate ability, high-efficient configuration, and reveal the real meaning of maket-driven by using some contrary examples.In part two, at first, I introduce the practical utilizations of the theory in alien enterprises. Then I analyze the differences between the local and the alien enterprises from three aspects : culture, ability, configuration and the necessity of becoming a market-driven organization.In part three, I explore the essence of market-driven culture , ability , configuration to build a solid theoretical base.In the final part, I try to provide the means to the native enterprises and help them fulfill this significant transformation to market-driven organization.
