Discussing The Legal Guarantee Of The Press Freedom

Since John.Milton put forward "Freedom of Press", the mankind has been making efforts to strive for the maximal freedom of speech. Today, with the development of news industry, Freedom of Press becomes a special right of the news medias when they satisfy citizen's right-to-known, it is the essential guarantee that the news medias complete the mission of spreading information. But in China , due to her special history , the legal guarantee of the Press Freedom has its deficiency and limitation. Therefore, discussing the legal guarantee of the Press Freedom in theory can offset the theoretical research's deficiency in our country's press freedom. It can help to carry on essential protection and rational restriction to the Press Freedom legally and realize the real socialistic press freedom. In this paper, I introduce the development of the Press Freedom, interpret the concept of the Press of Freedom in detail. I also put forward my Promethean understand when I analyse the connection and difference among the Freedom of Press, the Freedom of Speech and the Freedom of Journalism. On the basis of interpreting concepts, combining the analysis of the advantage and disadvantage that focuses on the development of the Press Freedom at all times and in all over the world, I discuss the legal guarantee of the Press Freedom on the basis of analyzing new's legal relation. Moreover, I break through the original research mode, and re-recognize the reasonable restriction of the Press Freedom by the way of classifying news.
