Research On Business Process Of Virtual Enterprise Based On Workflow

Business process of Virtual Enterprise(VE) is the core of the operation management and the modeling object of the VE model. Therefore, the research on business process of VE is important for the research of VE. Based on the situation of the research on VE and business process, the thesis combines workflow with business process of VE and put up the study deeply. Firstly, the thesis analyzes and understands the difficulty of the research on business process of VE from the theory and the practice by modeling research, optimizing method and Business Process Reengineering(BPR) of business process of VE. Based on the introduction on the basic theory and modeling of workflow, the thesis puts forward the research method of the integrating workflow with business process of VE. Secondly, the paper obtains the alternant and the local models based on workflow by integrating Extended Sequence Diagram(ESD) of UML with Object-oriented Petri Net(OPN) from the theory. The thesis resolves the problem that the alternant models can't guide the local models correctly for the alternant models are described only by Petri and provides the patricular mapping mechanism from ESD to OPN. Then the paper provides the patricular optimizing method to optimize the alternant models from the alternant situation of business process of VE and the local models from local business process of each member of VE. Afterwards the thesis can optimize the process models by simulation. At last, the paper put forwards the research method of BPR of business process of VE based on worklfow from the practice. The modeling method of business process of VE and optimizing method resolve the second and third steps, guide the first step and support the forth step of BPR of business process of VE. In addition, the workflow management system supports the forth step. Then the thesis studies the steps particularly and combines the content of the applying project based on the actual environment with the steps. Accordingly, the paper can study the steps deeply by attempting the applying on the actual environment.
