Stock management is one of the important items in industry management. Insufficient stock will have bottle-neck effects to cut off manufacturing. Overstock will not only hold up material and cash flow, but to increase the cost of manufacturing. In the case of tight financial situation, key investment can't be used in key positions. LUZHONG mining company adopts traditional stock management as "coping with things", with "three grades" management, handwork operation , careless management , a very lengthy process and massive structure, so it is impossible to react efficiently to manufacturing needs and outside information changes. Therefore makes it hard to control stock and capture profit.Business Process Reengineering (BPR) is a newly developed management theory in the 1990's. BPR emphasize using of the business process as the changing body, customer satisfaction as its goal, to completely rethink and redesign for industry business process, to utilize developed information technologies to achieve the goal of flatten management structure, therefore to ultimately achieve business cost, quality, customer service and efficiency of the improving process.This article researched deeply by demonstration at XIAOGUANZHUANG I ron Ore ,ZHANGJIAWA I ron Ore and company' provision department ,parts of LUZHONG Mining company ,of their present stock, and found out its management process, trying to utilizing the BPR system to improve the company's stock management process, designing reengineering model, advancing process reengineering's implement measures and steps, to make the company's management system be more scientifically sound, economically efficient, hoping to facilitate the future development of the company's business.
