With the disintegration of the former Soviet Union, the world's Political structure has hugely changed and the power vacuum appears. The Americans think the world should be reformed based on democracy and values of the United States, which is the rise of the neo- imperialism. After the strong strike of "9.11" " change everything", the scattered sparks of thought turned into the neo-imperialism of the United States. After Bush coming into power in 2001, the neo- imperialism with strong neo-conservatism has swept all over the world greatly. This dissertation aims to analyses and comment on the reasons and background of the neo-imperialism of American generally, the theory skeleton and practice, and thus try to summarize the result of the neo-imperialism.The first part of the dissertation analyses the reason and background of the neo-imperialism. Creation of the neo-imperialism in the United States not only individually results from he historical cultural tradition of the United States, but also needs consideration of the domestic and international order American faced.The second part of dissertation focus on comparatively analysis to the empire, imperialism and neo-imperialism, and fruitfully discusses on five theories of the neo-imperialism: the theory of preemptive measures, the theory of failure countries, the theory of unipolar stabilization, the theory of limited sovereignty, and the theory of democracy and peace. These five theories are related to each other and support each other logically.The third part of the dissertation concerns combination of the neo-conservatism and Bush's political power, which separately discussed from the political philosophy of the neo-conservatism, the influence of the neo-conservatism upon Bush's political power, the experiment of the new empire of the neo-conservatism and Iraqi war.The fourth part of the dissertation discusses on the future of the neo-imperialism. The Neo- imperialism is limited by many factors and can't be wholly carried out. The world peace can not be" Pax Americana", only be " multilateral corporation ".
