The Study On The Regional Differences Of Rural Urbanization In China

During recent years, the issues of agriculture farmers and the countryside has been a topic problem of the economical and social affairs in China, so how to solve these issues has also become a thorny question. The key of the solution about these issues is concerning peasantry, and the outlet is to decrease the number of the peasants. The rural urbanization is a process of flowing and pooling into the rural towns about the rural population and the non-agriculture. The rural urbanization not only do good to solve these issues, but also promote the solution sufficient domestic demands and the limit of market in city, and reduce the pressure of the rapid flowing from the countryside into the great cities about the rural population. The important of all, the rural urbanization could create the new room of the economic growth, avoid the appearance of the countryside and urban problems, and benefit to the economical and social sustainable development. Regional differences are a normal state in the regional economic development. However, the regional differences in contemporary China are being widened and look unreasonable. At present, the level of the rural urbanization has involved in the regional differences. It was estimated that the rate of the rural urbanization is 10 percent lower in West than in East, and the town-development lag in West has been the new bottleneck of the economic growth. Based on the solution concerning the issues of agriculture farmers and the countryside, namely the small-town development, the paper discusses the coordinate growth between the regions in China. The paper first makes researches into the actuality of the regional differences about the level of the rural urbanization, and analyze the reasons about it, then provides the relative countermeasures.This paper has 5 parts as follows:In chapter 1, the paper first gives a brief statement on the articles involving in the rural urbanization during twenty years from the opening-reformation last century. Second, the paper introduces the background and meaning of this research. Last the framework and research methods are presented.In chapter 2, the concepts in the paper are defined and the relative theories about the rural urbanization are summarized.Chapter 3 and chapter 4 are the core of this paper. In chapter 3, based on the general criterion, the level of rural urbanization between regions in China(except Taiwan, Hongkong and Macon) is compared and the extensity character of the regional difference concerning the rural urbanization in China is illuminated. In chapter 4, some reasons about the regional difference from the viewpoint of the agriculture, rural industry and township enterprise are enumerated. In chapter 5, surrounding the above-mentioned reasons, the paper provides some relative countermeasures.In chapter 5, the author summarizes the whole paper and points out some faults in the paper.
