The Analysis Of The Gallery's Space Feature In Shanghai And The Mechanism Of It

With the modernization and globalization trend of shanghai industry structure and space structure of the city are developing. In the same time cultural industry faces the new opportunity for development. As one kind of it art industry is becoming more and more active and listed one of four major culture industries in shanghai. Bases on practice this thesis chooses the art market as the research object with the gallery as the core. Through the analysis of history and current situation of gallery in terms of geography, it reveals the historical development and current feature on space. Then I analyze the reason of them and try to offer the basic reference material for further research and the justified suggestion for further practical development.In chapter one , the background and significance of the research and the framework of the thesis are discussed. In chapter two, the historical development on space of the gallery in shanghai is discussed. The main galleries" distribution maps in shanghai of 1995,2000 and 2004 are respectively made, which showing the historical evolution of the gallery in shanghai. The third part discusses the current situation of the gallery in shanghai, the characteristic in space showing the relationship with the space structure of the city. Basing on the second and third parts, in chapter four I analysis the driving of it including inner and external reasons. The last part of the thesis is the conclusion, including the main viewpoints. Later I put forward several questions need to be researched further and the.insufficiency of this thesis.
