Space Technology And International Politics

In the past 40 years there are a lot of factors that influence the development of space technology, of which international politics plays an important role as well as economy, science and technology, and military. According to a large quantity of foreign and domestic materials, this paper systematically analyzes international political impetus, the status and functions of the government macrocontrol, and points out the deficiencies of space treaties. Aiming at a series of international political problems that the exploitation and application of space technology bring on, the paper reviews the concussions that the national sovereignty and national security meet with; researches the effects of military application of space technology on world military structure; anatomizes two reasons that Militarization of space will result in wars and three excuses that peace could exist. Based on analyzing the present situation of the development of space technology in developing countries, the paper discusses the opportunities and challenges that the developing countries are facing in space competition. Aiming at the present military situation in our country, the paper brings forward four advice, and analyzes three relations that we must resolve to quicken the development of military space technology.
