A Study On The Savings Of Rural Householders In Jiangsu Province

How to keep the reasonable scale of rural householders savings is an urgent issue. The paper studies on the savings of rural householders in Jiangsu province.It analyzes the saving motivation of Jiangsu rural householders and finds factors that affect rural householders' savings behavior. By constituting a model to analyze, corresponding research results and political advises are provided. All in all, the thesis is composed by four parts.The lst part, chapter 1, includes the objective, significance, frame and the innovation and shortcoming of the thesis.The 2nd part, chapter 2, defines the savings and rural householders savings and introduces the theory of householders behavior on consumption and savings life cycle savings theory the theory about savings and economy growth and analyses the application of these theories in China.The 3rd part, including chapter 3 and 4, is the main part of the thesis. Chapter 3 mainly analyses the situation ,the saving motivation of Jiangsu rural householders and the positive and negative effect. Chapter 4, starts with seeking variables that affect the savings of Jiangsu rural householders. By employing the econometrics methods, a regression model is constituted and some analysis on the result of the model is presented. At the end of this chapter, it appears a prediction on the trend of the rural householders savings in the future.The 4th part, chapter 5, summarizes the basic conclusions of the thesis. For Jiangsu economy to develop healthily, several suggestions are put forward.
