The management consulting industry is a rising industry with great market potential in China. While for the fast-growing management consulting companies in China, they are in practice and searching phases for consulting marketing. In the face of competed pressure from international famous management consulting companies, they must seek a feasible and innovative way in order to build up their own brands. So it is very necessary to study the marketing method on using model that will be helpful to exploiting the market and exploring an own consulting road.Using a lots of domestic and overseas cases and correlative data, beginning from marketing practice in present, this dissertation mainly studies the marketing methods for management consulting companies in China, puts forward the characteristic methods which base on service marketing theory for management consulting companies in China, analyzes and choose the methods in optimization of marketing design which uses mathematic model, analyzes consulting model from game theory.The dissertation includes five sections. First of all, the author makes a description on the researching context, actuality and means of the paper. The second section will distinguish between consulting marketing and traditional marketing in order that it can make a preparative for following chapters. After analyzing consulting market and competition condition, the author researches client behavior, expectation and difference between consulting service and client expectation of management consulting service. Based on above analyses, the market can be divided into parts or fractions so that consulting companies can make a choice. Then the author points out the current problems which are discovered in consulting practice, advertising and customer relationship. Aiming at above problems, the fifth section works out the methods of sales promotion combination for management consulting companies and puts forward the characteristic marketing model and game theory marketing model for competitive and cooperation.
