With the process of informationalization, unit techniques, such as CAD, CAE, CAPP and ERP, are used more extensively in enterprise. However, in the actual application, some subsystems, such as CAX and ERP, are independent with each other. They can not effectively exchange and share information. In this case, the efficiency of product development is debased to some extent and the cost of production is increased. Fortunately, when the Product Data Management (PDM) is applied in enterprise, information integration can be realized and those problems can be settled successfully. Considering the characteristics of the design of steel metal machine tool and the common status of informationalization in the medium and minor enterprise, the information integration of the engineering design & analysis system is researched in this thesis on how to apply the advanced information integration technology, computer technology and net communications technology to steel metal machine tool enterprise. Furthermore, the enterprise's information integration based on the framework of PDM has been presented, and method of integration of PDM and CAX and the model of integration of PDM and ERP are discussed. The connection between CAE and PDM is also discussed, which provide detailed design guide and technical reference for the execution of steel metal machine tool enterprise's information project. In addition, ANSYS, which is a kind of general finite element analysis software, has been used as the analysis tool for FEA on the study of bender's frame. In the chapter 3, parametric model are established by using APDL, and linear static analysis is performed, which gets the stiffness and intensity of each component and provides references for subsequent optimization analysis. In the chapter 4, considering the bender's structure weakness and work characteristics, structural optimization is used for each component, including geometrical and topological optimization, which improves on its structure and enhances its stiffness. The optimized structure indicates that the improved structure not only can make up some defects but also save on the materials, so the cost of bender is reduced apparently. Moreover, the nonlinear contact analysis method is used on the frame and slider, which can simulate strained condition in the working process of a bender dynamically. The Analytical results provide reference basis for preceding analysis. In conclusion, the construction of information integration based on PDM provides theoretic reference for the informationalization of enterprises. And the FEA of benders provides useful application values for improving the design quality, reducing the costs of products and increasing the efficiency.
