Research On The Fuel Management Of Huaneng Yueyang Power Plant In The New Circumstance

In recent years, as our national economy develops fast and continuously, the power generating enterprises have been experiencing a profound change in the market environment. On one hand, the outstanding contradiction between the power demand and supply comes up with the serious shortage of the power in most of the areas in the country; on the other hand, the coal fuel has been in increasing shortage, which is believed to be the "bottle neck" to the normal power generation. Huaneng Yueyang Power Plant is a jointly invested power plant financed by Huaneng International Power Development Co. and Hunan Government. This is a large-sized power plant under the management of Huaneng International Power Development Co. In this new situation of coal fuel in short supply, Huaneng Yueyang Power Plant is not an exception, facing great difficulty and pressure resulted from the fuel shortage.This thesis takes Huaneng Yueyang Power Plant as the object and describes the major problems that exist in the new circumstance of power and fuel supply-demand. A new concept on the fuel management is put forward(to realize the dialectical unity of "quantity, quality and price", namely, to take enough consideration of the three: "quantity, quality and price", that is to ensure the supply as the priority, control the quality reliability as the basis and decrease the cost as the target. This thesis adopts the method of positive research and systematic analysis, and applies the professional knowledge on business administration to propose the countermeasures of how to respond to the market change in this new circumstance of power and coal supply-demand. The dialectical unity of "quantity, quality and price" for the fuel management shall be realized by implementing the countermeasures, thus avoiding all kinds of risks in the market and getting rid of the difficulty in the power and coal supply-demand.The new concept on analysis methodology and fuel management suggested in this thesis is both directive for the practice and helpful for the reference as to how the fossil-fired power enterprises respond to the coal market change and get rid of the embarrassment in coal and power supply-demand during the current period.
