Faced with the keener and keener competition of the market, enterprises need to optimize and harmonize all economic activities, so as to improve their competitive capability. As a kind of management theory of modern enterprises, value chain plays a vital role in improving the increment efficiency of the enterprises' production and management activities. Through the systemic research of the value activities of Guangdong ZFT company, this article uses value chain as an analytical tool to analyze the problems affecting enterprises' survival and development. With the increment of the value chain and the improvement of their competitive capability as the goal of enterprises' development, the article also puts forwards a project to solve these problems.The article is divided into five chapters. The first chapter, an exordium, summarizes the value chain's management theory and its development survey, and generally describes the current situation of synthetical leather industry and the recent circumstance of ZFT company. The second chapter analyzes the value chain of ZFT company's exterior activities and brings forwards a project to improve the value chain of enterprises' exterior activities. The third chapter analyzes the value chain of enterprises' inner basic activities, finds out the existing problems by analyzing all the activities, and proposes ZFT company to construct a production management system which can adapt to the requirement of the market. The fourth chapter analyzes the value chain of enterprises' assistant activities and raises a proposal to coordinate the basic structure of the enterprises and realize the goal of maximum increment of the value chain by strengthening and harmonizing enterprises' various value activities. The fifth chapter sums up the whole article. It has been proved that if enterprises improve and optimize the content of the enterprises' production and management activities and coordinate the relation of the departments of the enterprises and the relation of the enterprises and their exteriors, the increment efficiency of the value chain can be improved and the enterprises' competitive advantages can be strengthened.
