The steel industry developing rapidly these years in China, every steel company adjusts its product structure to satisfy the market's needs. Nowadays, the product structure of Fujian Sansteel is not perfect. Being a steel company, she must concentrate on the people's need. The company can develop only if she satisfies the people's need of product, quality and price.Taking the second stage of project of Fujian Sansteel 100t converter as an example, this paper analyses the external and internal terms of engineering construction of it on the basis of project management theory, indicating the importance and instancy of the second stage of project. In order to complete the second stage of project efficiently, speedily, safitily and at a lower cost, this paper focuses on the systematic study of the schedule management, quality management, safety management and so on of the project. Combining the characteristic of the second stage of project and experience gained in similar projects, this paper writes a whole set of relevant project management schemes in order to guide the practice.In the course of study, this paper pays attention to the guidance and practisiability of the pratice.
