| This paper discusses the modes of return logistics for storage & transportation packaging of enterprises. From two levels, return logistics systems are introduced and relevant costs are taken into account. On the first level, two types of feasible structures are considered by one single enterprise. Influences of coefficients on choice of system are figured out by analysis of costs; The second level involves many enterprises in a shared return system within an industry. Two structures are described in which the return logistics could be organized. Their objectives are achieved through each corresponding costs optimization model, from which the enterprise could choose whether or not to enter the system. In this paper, while government regulation is regarded as the external drive of enterprises to practice recycling, the internal drive and base of decision-making is totally to save cost of packaging. A single enterprise's return is easy to practice and to employ previous logistics network. With the growth of packaging amount and price, the shared return system could be more economical. Enterprises could make different decision under different circumstance. |
