Urbanization is an infallible result of the industrialization. Industrialization and urbanization influences and motivates each other. Urbanization is also an important parameter of modernization. The development of the urbanization is very important to the development of the social-economy. However, the level of the urbanization rests with the development of the economy, society, technology and the culture.The problem of the urbanization is a big program of the China in the new period. As is well known. Jiangxi province is an agricultural province of the central of China. In the very long past, agriculture was the pillar cornerstone industry, so the industrialization and the urbanization develop very slowly, and the low level of the urbanization retards the progress of the social economy. How to develop urbanization is also a very big program of Jiangxi province in the new period.According to the actualities of Jiangxi urbanization and economy, the author points out that the development strategies of Jiangxi urbanization should attach great importance to the spatial difference and take unbalance strategies. In general, we should strengthen the development of the main axis's of cities along the Jing-jiu railway and the Zhe-gan railway and the second axis's of cities along the 206 and 323 country road (Long -Gan-Shao railway), through the development of the core cities to pull the whole development of the cities along the axis's. The author also points out that the north Jiangxi should improve the development of the urban intensive district and the south should improve the development of the new central cities. This strategy will improve the process of the urbanization and economy.
