A Discussion On The Geo-strategy Of Sub-region Cooperation Of Lancang-Mekong River

The economic globalization and the development of integration are fast, irresistible in our times, in order not to be marginalized, every country joins various kinds of regional organizations one after another, and economy globalization as a double-aged sword, brings advantages as well as risks to the countries involved. Sub-region of Lancang-Mekong River locates in the combination area of three major areas in China, Southeast Asia, South Asia. It has extremely important position no matter in the respect of natural development of resources, or market potential even the security strategy. The article tries to analysis the strategic position and the cooperative area of China in the Sub-region of Lancang-Mekong River on the perspective of Geo-politics and Geo-economy. It explores the strategic intention of Out Region Countries who actively intervene in this area. Meanwhile the article analysiscs the sub-region Cooperation's impacts on China, ASEAN and even the whole world systematically. At the same time, it touches on the developing countries, who differs on ideology, political system and level of economic complexity, exist a series of problems pressing for solution such as finance, technology, talents, concerned mechanism, assignment of interests and so on.
