Existing Situation And Development Countermeasure Of Pig Industry For The PLA

It is a fine tradition for our national army that engages agricultural sideline production. Whether in time of war or peace, it plays a positive role for the growth, grandness and development for the PLA. Especially under a new situation of energetically boosting military reform with Chinese characteristics, changing model and span development, accelerating military combat preparation, accomplishing agricultural sideline production of the PLA, not only is a power measure of subsidizing the living level for officers and men, fostering strong battle spirit, increasing multiple ensure, promoting total construct of the PLA, but also is the actual action to obey and serve overall constructions of the PLA.The agricultural subsidiary production of our military distributes countrywide, where the individual army inhabits a various and complex geographical condition and ecological environment. Which leads to a significant difference in productive level and technical status, breeds and breeding modes of each unit. For recently several years, pig production for the PLA, as an important composed portion, has been getting a rapid development, and it plays a very important role for improving the living level of officers and men as well as promoting development of the agricultural subsidiary production for the PLA. However, there are still exists many problems that can not adapt to the modern pig production, which major represent in three aspects, including production on a large scale, a low quality of products and a faulty system of scientific breeding, owing to establishment reform of our army system and structural regulation of agricultural subsidiary production.Aiming at above these problems, swine industry for PLA should consider from adapting to requirement of modern pig industry and development stratagem of agricultural supplementary production, meanwhile increasing understand to importance of pig production for the PLA, and seeking for methods and measures actively for resolving these problems. I considered that we should set out from the five aspects involving improvement production on a large scale, breed improvement, establishment of safety in production architecture for nuisanceless pork, establishment of no standard animal loimic region and breeding combine with feeding to develop ecological pig-keeping in order to accelerate healthy and stable development of pork production for PLA.
