The Equity Study Of Marxist Perspective And Building A Harmonious Society

Among all the statements about human society and its developing patterns from the perspective of Marxism, there exist a lot of thoughts about social fairness. This paper starts with introducing the historical evolution of Marxist viewpoint of fairness during those years before and after 1848. In the second place, it mainly informs us of the basic content of Marxist viewpoint of social fairness, by which Max and Engels considered fairness as the conception of morality and law and its nature and content is decided by certain material living condition which is the economic foundation. Fairness is constantly historical, hierarchical, concrete, relative and exclusive of any abstract"eternal fairness"that exceeds specific historical condition and hierarchy. At the same time, the relation between"fairness"and"equality"should also be paid much attention. To realize social fairness under the guidance of Marxist viewpoint of social fairness, it is required to discern the hypocrisy and deception of the fairness in capitalist society and to give profound criticism on it. It is also necessary to go on with proposing the idea of eliminating private ownership and hierarchy by communism and finally to point out the principal route to realize social fairness.In the practicing process of building socialism with Chinese characteristics with the leadership of the Communist Party of China after Max and Engels, the awareness of social fairness has been deepened continuously, which promoted both social fairness and the development of Marxism. Chinese leading community around the center of Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin and Hu Jingtao have already illustrated systematically; the first central leading community set up fair economic foundation and system guarantee; the second one established the fair conception of"Common Prosperity"; the third one founded the important ideology of"Three Representatives"; the new central leading community around Secretary-general Hu Jingtao proposed the idea of"Four Fairness".In China, with the expansion of reform and the opening up to a deeper and wider level, a variety of conflicts and the problems about social fairness occur accompanying the extending of social gap. This paper aims to concentrate on the controversial problems about education, distribution, social guarantee. It firstly put forward the relation between Marxist viewpoint of social fairness and educational fairness, distributional fairness, social guarantee system. To continue with, it analyzes the phenomenon of unfairness and its causes before eventually giving appropriate measures. It is a systematic and complicated great project to achieve social fairness and to build a harmonious society since it involves various concrete areas, in which we should stick to the guideline of Marxist theories in order to encourage social fairness and the construction of harmonious socialist society.
