| Elderly population is an important part of our population, in order to build a moderately prosperous society in all aspects and achieve the grand goal that Economic sustainable development, we must solve the problem of Elder well, the quality of life of the elder is the core problem of elderly group.Recently years, following the aging in our country and the rising influence on our economy society, government and academia pay more attention to the quality of life of elderly population. In the foreign country, research about the quality of life begin in the early 20th century, with the developed country gradually entered the aging society, there are some scholar specially analyze and investigate the characteristics of elderly population and the problems which must been met in elderly life, they also explore the elderly population quality of life. In our country, research about the quality of life begin in the 1980s, particularly after 1990s, the elderly population size gradually increasing and the aging speed up in our country, based this background, then academia begin the study on the quality of life of the elder that special group.This article take example by the research findings of elderly population quality of life domestic and overseas, combine the specific circumstance of elderly population quality of life in our country, make use of the National Population and Family Planning Commission and JiLin University "Our old people living conditions and endowment public service needs study" partial survey data of ChangChun city, consider the availability of the data at the same time, establish the comprehensive evaluation index system of Elderly population living quality in ChangChun city. We use the Grading weighted comprehensive mark suggested by the Chinese society of geriatric medicine epidemiological et al meeting, comprehensively evaluated the elder population quality of life in changchun, meanwhile division the elderly population by different age and gender, separately evaluation the elderly population living quality on the aspects of economic life, medical health life, family and society life and the spiritual life. Research results show the first, changchun elderly population living quality above the average level; the second, changchun female elderly population living quality is slightly lower than the male older; the third, living quality of High age group below the low age group elderly population living quality, we can say like this living quality level be lower as the rising age.On the basis of the data of overall merit of changchun elderly population living quality, cluster analysis the seven districts, the elderly population living quality of changchun Auto industry development zone and Chaoyang District are better; living quality of elderly in Nanguan District and economic-technical development zone as well as high-tech zone are middle; Kuancheng District and Erdao District are bad.Although the elder population living quality has better foundation, there are more prominent problem remained to be improved, it is contribute to improve living quality of the elderly group that carry out the study on changchun elderly population living quality. Through the empirical analysis, Comprehensive grasp the quality of life of changchun city elderly population status quo, clear related factors which influence the quality of the old people in changchun,found the unfavorable factors which hinder to enhance the quality of life of changchun city elderly population, At last, this article present some policy suggestion on improve the changchun elderly population living quality.
