The core issues of the elderly population is quality of life issues ofthe elderly population. Achieve the strategic objectives of the well-offstandard of living in our country, living conditions of the elderlypopulation will directly affect the degree of realization of goals.Under our"old before getting rich," the situation, how to effectively solve theelderly, especially in rural elderly,to solve the "Tomorrow we howpension ", has become a major livelihood issues and the most concern tothe current problems of the masses.In this paper, stratified random sampling in rural areas of Jinchang,Gansu Province, around older family life, material life, health, pensionissues, social interaction, self-satisfaction, obtained the elderly livingconditions relevant data through questionnaires, discussed the status ofthe elderly living in rural areas.The results showed that sources oflivelihood and medical costs of all ages were significantly different; olderliving with who with their marital status was significantly associated;Concept of child pension is still no change, the elderly do not understandpension insurance; Males and females have significant differences infamily life satisfaction, and satisfaction in other areas were notsignificantly different. Under different ages, the material life satisfactionelderly population mean no significant differences at different levels, andhealth and satisfaction children honor were significantly different.Above 80years old, the elderly have higher satisfaction in all aspectsts,"75-79years old" stages of the elderly in all respects at a low level. Source oflivelihood, marital status, and who live, worried that the pension,age andwhether suffering hypertension, chronic gastritis, chronic bronchitis,diabetes and cataracts affected the status of the elderly living satisfaction.
