The social relationship is various and complicated, the most important one of it is the labor relationship. The harmonious labor relationship is the precondition and groundwork of constructing the harmonious society. Labor relationship is a special relation between a person and another person and it is under the control of the following factors in the social context, such as economics, culture, law, institution, policy, science and technology and so on. It shows the congregation of cooperation and confliction. On the stage, the labor relationship in our country is harmonious in general, but there also has some disharmonious things existed. The society is now at the stage of industrialization and urbanization. At this stage, it is not only the period of expansion, but also the period for the appearance of contradiction. According to the regulation of social development, it is normal for the development of the labor relationship to have some problems existed. How to find and solve them is the key.The Marxism labor relation theory must not confine the constructing of the harmonious labor relationship to no possessions and no wage laboring, it should keep up with the times and develop constantly. Obtaining the plentiful and impartial employment, safe working condition, harmonious labor relationship for the decent work is the pursuit for the human being's social practice over a long period. The decent work put forward by the international society is to ensure the rights and interests of laborer and consists of promoting the right, obtaining employment, social protection and social dialog. The thesis shows that the new harmonious labor relationship has the same idea with the decent work and the two sides should respect each other, equity and justice, orderly competition, equal consultation, coexist and all-win. It is the balanced relation of interest between the employing units and the employees of embodying the care for people.Constructing harmonious labor relationships has the diverse criterion and visual angles at the different stages of the social and economical development. The thesis views from the angle of people-oriented at the scientific outlook on development and on the basis of assimilating the past research productions, guided by the Marxism fundamental principles, studies and proves that now in our country the progress of constructing harmonious labor relationship has four main problems. They are lack the idea of the decent work, irregular of the law of the labor relationship, imperfection of the institution of the labor relationship and the infirmity of the coordination mechanism of the labor relationship. It also put up with four basic resolve clues accordingly and they are deeply advocating the idea of the decent work, regulating the law of the labour relationship, perfecting the institution of the labor relationship and perfecting the coordination mechanism of the labor relationship.At the present, there are many research works about the harmonious labor relationship on diverse criterion and visual angles, but there has little research from the angle of people-oriented and the thesis provides a new angle. From the Marxism labor relation theory, labor theory of value and the care for people of the scientific outlook on development, it analyses that constructing harmonious labor relationship is indeed for the overwhelming majority of laborers'welfare and development and positively explores in theoretical aspect as well, the thesis ascends a new height. It analyses the up-to-date idea of the decent work on international society with the harmonious labor relationship, thereafter the thesis carries on a new exploration.
