In the age of knowledge economy, the development of defense science and technology information systems is tending to direction of knowledge as its core. Knowledge is the intelligence product of national defense science and technology information, also the combination of intelligence with some self-evolution capability, but not simply equated with data and information. Through a certain degree of processing, raw intelligence form a more user-friendly intelligence unit flowing in the defense information systems. It is necessary for defense information systems to ascertain the method of simple information into knowledge information, and take effective management to them. Therefore, the management of knowledge in the defense information system is needed badly.With the system's running state as the main line, the knowledge of community development model as a key point, the dissertation explored the running state of knowledge management system in national defense science and technology information. By the statistical data from typical organization, empirical study was taken to verify promotion effect of knowledge management to national defense system from the perspective of system dynamics. Then the study evaluated the efficiency of knowledge management system in order to test the role of knowledge management. The dissertation mainly includes contents as follows:First, the study described its objectives, ideas, methods and innovations after literature review from the theoretical integration and research results two aspects. And then an ideal growth model was proposed to set the boundary of knowledge management system based on the problems in defense science and technology information systems.Second, the system is split and reconstructed. This paper made some idealized assumptions to the system, partition the system level and sub-structure, and then drafted the cause and effect diagram, describe the lead circuit qualitatively.Moreover, through the analysis of the system structure and causality, the dissertation ascertained basic flow chart, basic tree model and the flow rate of bit stream system, finally built the system dynamics model and had the model testing and evaluation.Finally, the dissertation simulated the dynamic model by VENSIM, analyzing some findings with great theoretical and practical significance, which could provide basis for the implementation of knowledge management.
