Chen Duxiu And The Early Exploration Of Marxism Locating In China

Based on the historical materials, this thesis discussed Chen Duxiu's practical exploration to the early exploration of Marxism locating in China. Sorted out and generalized his theoretical achievement, revealed his contribution to the early exploration of Marxism locating in China, and analyzed the basic reason of his early exploration from the condition of Chen Duxiu himself.Localizing Marxism in China is of great importance about Chinese revolution and construction practical, with both historical and realistic meanings. Based on the expanding the process of Chen Duxiu's promoting the May 4th Movement, spreading the Marxism theory, applying the Marxism theory to Chinese society, founding CPC, and seeking for the way-out for Chinese revolution, it is argued that Chen Duxiu has made initial contribution to localizing Marxism in China, his theoretical achievement about some of the fundamental question in Chinese revolution had important affection on the early exploration of Marxism locating in China, and made ideological preparation for Chinese new-democracy theory . Meanwhile, this thesis also analyzed the main condition of Chen Duxiu's becoming the forerunner of early exploration of Marxism locating in China, and tried to discuses the positive and negative influence of Chen Duxiu's localizing Marxism in China as supplementary.This thesis observed the principle of combining theory with practice, try to elaborate Chen Duxiu's importance and function in early exploration of Marxism locating in China, by studying his function in importing and spreading Marxism, his adhering to the principle stand of Marxism in his revolution practice, his theoretical and practical achievement about awareness of China's specific conditions and nature of Chinese revolution.
