The Research Of Legal Protection Of Intellectual Property In The China-ASEAN Free Trade Area

The integration of regional economic body is the trend of world economic development. Since the last century, the European Union and the North American Free Trade Area were established, and their thriving trends show the great power of the new economic organization- regional economic body. After decades of preparation, China - ASEAN Free Trade Area, was officially launched on January 1, 2010。This free Trade Area which composed by the developing countries has the largest population in the world will bring the enormous economic development opportunities for each member. Therefore the Opportunities always bring risks. Without a good legal system as a guarantee, the economic development will not be stable. The outlook is not optimistic.This article is based of the establishment of the China - ASEAN Free Trade Area, analyzed the intellectual property laws of China and ASEAN countries, descript the legal protection of intellectual property in the NAFTA and the EU. Re-examine the current legal protection of intellectual property legislation in the China - ASEAN Free Trade Area. Ultimately, I suggested some thoughts and views for the legal protection of intellectual property rights of the China - ASEAN Free Trade Area and its future development trends.
