With the development of domestic tourism and implement of religious policies,religious tourism had achieved great development.Many tourists participated in the religious tourism with high enthusiasm,also a lot of tourism scholars and administrators of religion affairs devoted themselves into the researches and development of religious tourism projects.Foreign scholars had already achieved mature research results about the study of the subjects of religious tourism,while our domestic studies are still insufficient.The study of the subjects is the most basic and key content of tourism market study.Effective study of the subjects can improve the satisfaction level and can help predict the consuming behaviors of tourists,meanwhile,it can provide suggestions for tourist attractions and companies to design products and formulate marketing strategies.The Da Ci'en Temple of Xi'an is one of the most famous buddhism temple in the world,and it is the origin of Fa Xiang Sect,which is one of buddhist sects. The Da Ci'en Temple originating from Tang dynasty has a very important status in the history of Buddhism,which attracts many buhhism believers and tourists from home and abroad. This article take the Da Ci'en Temple as an example to analyze the demands and consuming behaviors of tourists,on the foundation of tourism motivation theory,tourism demand theory and other theories. After getting the data,analytical method were taken to do quantitative analysis.According to whether tourists'first motivation is related to religious belief,tourists were divided into two categaries.Then the demand and consuming behaviors characters of two groups were concluded.At last,the article provide some suggestions of religious products designing,marketing and environment improving for the Da Ci'en Temple and other religious tourist attractions.
