The Characteristics And Development Course Of Japanese Navy After The Second World War

As an island country in the Pacific Ocean, Japan has a great influence in politics, economics, military forces and international affairs. Japan has a long history and a lot of successful experiences in the development of the navy, so it is regarded as a horse-riding race on the ocean. At least since the period of Kofun Japanese had the record of ocean action and starting the construction of troops on the ocean, but it is still too weak and can not even be called the navy to some extent. Having an important position in Japanese and the world navy development history, Japanese near contemporary navy looked rather famous in the certain period, and ended after fighting against American navy. After the Second World War, America rebuilt Japan as well as its global strategy and Cold War concerned. So Japanese navy took part in Korean mine clearance, ocean transportation lines and supply protection, providing disaster relief together and anti-terrorism drills, etc. After efforts of more than half a century, Japanese navy recover from recession. At present, although Japanese Ocean Defense has no aircraft carriers and nuclear energy submarines, the number and fighting capacity of its major warships, for example, destroyers and escort ships, has exceeded Russian and British navy, just behind America. Its comprehensive strength is the second. Meanwhile, Japanese Ocean Defense is capable to fight on the high seas and one of the strongest strength on the ocean. Now, Japanese Ocean Defense goes here and there for their dream of great political and military country, and is aggressive in terms of ocean and land disputes with the nearby countries. After the Second World War, the development of Japanese navy implies many features, full of experiences and lessons, and also worth thinking deeply. Also, it is valuable to think and analyze that it is a good news or a disaster to the peace and development of East Asia.Starting from the angle of history and comprehensively considering the knowledge of International Relationship, Regional Politics, Military Affairs, Diplomacy, Law, Sociology and Economics, this article aims to introduce and analyze the development course of Japanese navy after the Second World War, and summarize the development characteristics in order to present the historical course of Japanese navy in this period. What's more, it also reflects some of my own thought.This article is separated into five parts:The first part is the introduction, mainly elaborating the reason and meaning of this title, and reviewing the research results of scholars in our country and abroad.The second part is the historical review of Japanese ocean power, briefly analyze the change and improvement of Japanese ocean power as well as its ocean action.The third part is about the development course of Japanese navy. This part mainly elaborates the development course of Japanese navy since 1945, analyzing the evolution course from establishment, growth and becoming a strong strength. Elements influencing its growth, adjustment of the ocean strategy and the national strategy are also mentioned.The fourth part is the development characteristics of Japanese navy after the Second World War.The five part is ending words, generally evaluating the evolution and future trend of Japanese navy after the Second World War.
