Method and theory in ideological and political education are developed and changed with the development of complex politics,economy,culture and science and technology both in international and civil society. Especially with the economic globalization and the rapid development of China's market economy, ideological and political education is facing many new situations and new problems, including some emergency caused by uncertainties of nature,social,family and the personal reasons of educational objects, which requires a timely follow-up and realistic response as to the method of ideological and political education in order to solve the ideological and psychological difficulties that the object of ideological and political education facing. To this end, strengthen the theoretical study on the methods of ideological and political education crisis intervention, help to promote theoretical innovation of ideological and political education methods and improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education, promote the building of a harmonious society in China.Based on related Theory in public crisis management, the present paper has conducted some research on the Crisis Intervention in ideological and political education. The paper is written in the form of introduction, main body, references as well as postscript.The introduction part first introduces the background of the research topic and the opportunities provided by crisis intervention in ideological and political provided by crisis intervention in ideological and polital education. Then, significance concerning the research topic is described in a brier way.Chapter 1, An Overview of Crisis Intervention Methods in Contemporary Ideological and Political Education. Based on the defining of crisis, crisis intervention through literature search and comparative analysis, this chapter discusses the content, characteristic and functions of ideological and political education methods. At last, the significance of crisis intervention in ideological and political education is presented.Chapter 2, The Basis and Application Principle of Crisis Intervention Methods in Contemporary Ideological and Political Education. The establishment of methods needs to have its own basis. This chapter discusses the establishment basis of crisis intervention methods in contemporary ideological and political education from both theoretical and realistic perspectives, probes into the application principle of crisis intervention methods in contemporary ideological and political education and points out that crisis intervention methods need to follow the people-oriented principle of prevention, service principles and the principles and the principle of coordination.Chapter 3, the way of practical operation and requirement for crisis intervention methods in Contemporary ideological and political education. According to the crisis development process, this chapter categorizes the practice of crisis intervention into three steps, namely, crisis warning education, crisis intervention for emergency and intervention in crisis recovery. Besides, each step also discuss the concrete operation of crisis intervention in contemporary ideological and political education. Finally, the requirement for the application of crisis intervention in contemporary ideological and political education is explored.
