The equality of socialist is a contentious issue. Over the years, there are many misconceptions about the socialist equality:on the one hand, the traditional socialist wrongly regard the equality of assigned, even the equality of results as goal and value of socialist equality. This not only does not reflect the essence of socialism, but digest the superiority of socialist society. There was no common prosperity. There has been a common laggard and together poverty of tragic situation. Socialist equality has become an absolute egalitarianism, in other words, the emergence of new inequality. On the other hand, with the development of reform and opening up, the equality theory of western was introduced into China. People are keen on the arguments of rights equality and opportunity equality and try to replace the Marxist' equality theory with the western equality theory. What is the Content and substance of socialism equality? What is the difference between Socialist equality and western social equality? Based on Lenin's socialist equality thought, this paper will reveal the real face of socialist equality.This paper has fallen into six parts:Part I:investigates the history background and theoretical logic of Lenin's socialist equality thought.
