Nancy Fraser is the third generation representative of the Frankfurt Social Criticism. Her three-dimensions and unitary justice theory, which is redistribution, recognition and representation, and parity participation that is the fundamental principle, is the latest achievement of the left-wing social criticism theory. This thesis studied Fraser's justice theory from three aspects, that is solve what problem, how to solve it and its result. At the globalization era, although people still fight for their economic interests, yet more and more people talk about kinds of groups struggle and "New Social Movement", they discuss the feminist movement, sex between homosexual love, and the ethnic and race injustice by mass media and public channels. This is a symbol for the appearance of the so-called "fighting for recognition" justice theory in western world. How should we understand these groups struggle and "New Social Movement"? Fraser's justice theory provides us with excellent perspective and analysis model. Firstly, this thesis concentrated on the situation of "post-socialism", this is the problem that Fraser must solve. Secondly, by carding redistribution-recognition problem proposed by Fraser and the dispute in western critical theorists, this thesis introduced Fraser's "positive program" and "transformed program" in solving groups struggle, at the meantime, analysed "recognition", which is an ancient and postmodern concept, from theoretical aspect, and distinguished Fraser's identity recognition and status recognition of membership. Different from Honneth's recognition of the order that is based on moral psychology, Fraser insisted on the cultural dimension of recognition; Thirdly, this paper investigated global justice, representation and the principal of equal participation. Finally, the author evaluated the value and shortage of Fraser's justice theory, the most valuable point is developing cultural recognition dimension of traditional distributive justice, and unifying redistribution, recognition and representation together, in this way, a paradigm that is used to explain kinds of group struggles is created.
