On The Construction Of China's Sustainable Consumption Legal System

Circular economy and sustainable consumption are closely related. Compared with western countries, China's sustainable consumption remains at low levels. The main obstacles in achieving sustainable consumption are the following:changing consumer ideas, reducing costs of green product in such constrained economic circumstances. Germany, Japan, the United States and other western countries have passed legislation related to the implementation of sustainable consumption, and accumulated a certain amount of practical experience. To build a legal system of sustainable consumption suitable for China, we should develop relevant laws of China's sustainable consumption, modify and improve the regulatory and incentive systems and other aspects of the government procurement system.
