Investigation And Research Of Community Correction To HeiLin Town

Community Correction as the punishment execution institution of non-imprisonment for China national condition, from 2003 to be the experiment site, in 2009 to be implemented in the whole country until now, receives good legal and social effects, improves the quality of education and reform of criminals, reduces the cost of punishment execution, plays an important role for maintaining social harmony and stability. However, we should also realize many aspects of Community Correction in our country need to be further strengthen; this paper takes the implementation situation of Community Correction in HeiLin Town as an example, investigates from the aspects of current situation, team building, and institution building of Community Correction, proposes some countermeasures and suggestions, and provides some references for the further development of Community Correction in HeiLin Town.The first part introduces the necessity and the significance to carry out Community Correction.The second part introduces the current situation of Community Correction and the overview of the study area in our country.The third part proposes some problems that Community Correction exists through the investigation to Community Correction of HeiLiin Town, such as team building, institution improvement procedure engagement, supervision, publicity and education, appraisal system construction and funds safeguard.The forth part proposes some countermeasures and suggestions in view of the problems that Community Correction exists in HeiLin Town, such as introduction and training of talented persons, consummation of related institutions, establishing correction service stations of the countryside community, establishing funds safeguard and supervision institution, improving the evaluation system of Community Correction, and strengthening publicity and education of Community Correction.
