An Analysis About Development Traces Of Rural Democracy In New China

Democracy is an important symbol of our human social civilization and progress, which is an eternal theme of human political pursuit. The Chinese Communist Party, when it was established, our party made democratic ideals fully in Party's declaration and program, and exploring in the practice. Rural democracy is an important part of social democracy under Socialism with Chinese characteristics, the level of the rural democratic development, which would affect China's socialist democratic politics and the harmony of the rural society. Since the founding of new China, rural democracy has been developed for sixty years, after exploring and developing continually, it has been formed a system of rural democratic autonomy which is involved in most of the peasants participated in directly. The development of China's rural democracy is a gradual process, and practiced after 60 years, it promotes the process of the socialist democratic politics in China. Especially after the reform and opening policy actualized, it has been established a relatively completed system for the rural democracy. Rural democracy is getting rapid development, rural democratic institutions are being completed, the democratic rights of peasants are getting bigger realization, rural democracy is getting bigger development, therefore peasants are sharing the fruits of development, the development of rural democracy are promoting the rural social stability and harmony. In the new historical condition, our country's political construction of the rural democracy has been made remarkable achievements, but there are some problems needed to overcome and solve. It is a great and formidable task to promoting rural construction of democracy and it is not a short time for developing the rural democracy under Socialism with Chinese characteristics, the rural democratic construction is influenced by many factors, such as the economy, politic and culture, so the burden is heavy and the road is long. This paper uses the methods of the historical and developing views, investigating the rural democracy in the past of 60 years, the paper analyses and summarizes the characteristics of rural democratic development, from the aspects of the current situation, the problems, the experience and the restriction factor, finally puts forward the ideas and countermeasures. This paper argues that, to further promote the development of rural democracy, we should combine national conditions, comprehensive consideration, developing from all aspects.
