In recent years, the development of migrant workers'under-adult kids left at home poses a problem arousing an extensive concern, meditation and study. Teenagers left at home are possessing, to some extent, worrying attitudes towards life and study, behavior, morality, etc. Under this background, it has become an urgent question to be dealt with seriously, how to strengthen and improve the moral cultivation of these youngsters, how to intensify the general effect of"caring teenagers"project, to make them think and act in harmony with social development and enrich their personality continually.The direction of Marxism's theories of humanity and value, the requirements of the Party and the Government, the rational thinking and appeal from the academic and educational circle and the revelation by the already existing practice in value education all evidence the suggestion that deep concern about mode of thought, cultural background and value orientation hidden behind the behavior mode of the youngsters left at home, strong care about their real and reasonable needs, constant realization, protection and development of their legitimate rights and interests, the purposed enhancement of the cultivation and education of advanced and right values are the fundamental and foreseeing strategic choice and in addition, the important breakthrough and progress in efficiency in the education of the youngsters left in countryside.This thesis is to take the H Junior Middle School of Xinghua City for example, and via Q&A, interview, and other methods, to describe the real condition of values owned by the youngsters left at home and analyze the causes of their values, presenting measures correspondingly. This article is divided into four parts: Part One, Forewords, expounds on the background and basis for choice of the topic, the research meaning and methods, and does a thorough synthesis of the documents concerned, and also defines several important concepts; Part Two firstly centers on 8 values delivering a description of present state of values owned by the youngsters in particular cases, and afterwards, gives an analysis on the general characteristics of this class's values from three perspectives: value aims, value evaluation and value options. Based on the theory of interiors and exteriors and in combination with investigation, Part Three using the knowledge of sociology, education, and developmental psychology analyzes the external social factors and individual psychological factors, such as family, school, public media, peering groups, community, which exert influence on the shape and development of the youngsters'values; Part Four presents the basic way of implementing human-oriented education for the cultivation of the youngsters'values , and ponders respectively upon how government, school, family, public media and community can collaborate to optimize the ecological environment for fostering social values and to form the strongest resultant force so as to contribute to the value education of the youngsters left at home and to make the youngsters possess scientific and advanced values.
