Research On The Cooperation Mechanism Between NGOs And Government

Along with the global economic and social changes, NGOs were able to enjoy unprecedented development worldwide. They are active in social fields, and play a more and more important role especially in the provision of public goods, social welfare and influencing public policy. Since the establishment of our new country, many nonprofit social organizations were set up by the Government. During the 1990s, along with the transformation of Chinese economical system, many social organizations also emerged throughout the country in public welfare area. entering the 21st century with all kinds of natural disasters occurred frequently and social contradictions sharply intensified, the development of NGOs was further promoted. The same as a public product and the public service provider, the relations and the existing way between NGOs and the Government cause the scholars'attention. This paper's analysis shows that the relationship of NGOs and Government is partner relationship, only rational division of labor, the close cooperation of both can better realize the public administration and public service function. This paper finally puts forward the cooperation mechanism of NGOs and the Government , which includes reasonable and effective training mechanism,clear regulations,timely and efficient communication and coordination mechanism,the feasible operation mechanism,expecting to provide some references for the cooperation of Government and NGOs.
