Legal culture in Dong ethnic group's village governance are abundant andhaveagreatimpactonthesocietyofDongethnicgroup.ThisarticletakesBaTuanVillage Dudong Township Sanjiang County in Guangxi Zhuang AutonomousRegion as an example, Researching on the origin, contents and changes oftraditional law, modern village and villagers'pledges. Based on this research, thisarticle discusses the existed problem in governance of the village and the possiblesolutions. In the end of this research, the focusshifts ontothe relationship betweenThe national law and the minority nationalities' customary laws. Facing thecomplicated social relationships in Dong ethnic society , law plays an importantrole in coordinating social relationship. However, Law is not the solution to all thesocial problems, especially those in the Dong ethnic villages, where traditionalcustoms play a bigger role. By this research, the author hopes related departmentsthatare concernedofthismattershould paymore attentiontothe traditional ethniclegal culture. The author of this article hopes as well that this research can be auseful reference to our country village management, especially minority area ofvillagegovernance.
