This paper picks of Marx's theory of civil society development according to Marx's writings in different periods for a logical thread ,so that researches the rich contents and constructs of civil society in contemporary China.This paper is made up of five parts. The first part not only provides an overview the research of Marx's theory of civil society in China's reform and opening up more than 30 years but also describes the study methods. The Second parts focused on explains the theory of Marx's theory of civil society's two major sources,one is Hegel's theory of civil society,and Hegel is the founder of the modern theory of civil society, who important thought"State higher than civil society"in the history of the theory of civil society marked a historic turning point. Another is Feuerbach humanism. The third part picks track of the Marx's theory of civil society development from"the critique of Hegel's philosophy of law"to the"Communist Party"during the development. The fourth part first interpretation of Marx's theory of civil society from the perspective of philosophy,economics,political science and law, then points out that its scientific features which humane,realistic and target. The fifth part based on the reality of the current situation in China, under the condition of socialist market economy, constructing contemporary China in the perspective of Marx's civil society theory of civil society. In the process of constructing contemporary Chinese civil society, we need to improve the Socialist legal system, correctly handle the sharing of powers and checks and balances, and adhere to the principles of fairness and justice address Social interest relationship, pay attention to people overall development.
